THE LEARNING NEED

Support students preparing for TSIA2 Mathematics and English Language Arts and Reading, including essay preparation where relevant.

UpReach helps schools organize purposeful online preparation around identified needs.

Who it is for: Schools supporting college-readiness and dual-credit preparation.

HOW THE SERVICE WORKS

A purposeful learning plan.

01

Identify the readiness need

Clarify the Mathematics, reading, writing or essay skills the student group needs to strengthen.

02

Work through the reasoning

Use explanations, worked examples and guided practice to make mathematical thinking and written reasoning easier to follow.

03

Practice independently

Build opportunities for students to apply a skill without step-by-step prompts, then review the work and plan the next task.

What we agree with your school

Tutoring is delivered online. The school and UpReach agree the instructional scope, schedule and materials. Colleges and testing centers determine testing requirements, exemptions and placement decisions.

A FEW USEFUL DETAILS

Before you get started.

Can students prepare for one area only?

Yes. A request can focus on Mathematics, ELAR or essay preparation, or combine areas after a review of student needs.

Does preparation determine college placement?

Placement and exemption decisions belong to the institution. Our service focuses on preparation and learning support.

Build a plan your school can review

Learning goal: identify the grade levels, priority skills and starting information your team will use to plan support.

Delivery plan: discuss group size, session length, frequency, school coordination and the proposed start and end dates.

Review points: agree how learning work, attendance and progress updates will be shared with your designated school contact.
